Rocky Fontana grew up on a farm in Iowa. During the 1950’s, as cars became a part of our daily lives, Rocky found his forever passion with hot rods, street rods, and later muscle cars. While following his passion, Rocky started buying cars for friends and relatives through a friend's business who was getting ready for retirement. In 2002, Rocky opened MY CAR GUY in Minneapolis and has been buying vehicles for people ever since. In 2016, Rocky moved MY CAR GUY to Howard Lake.
